What is BCA exactly.....

  • Objective
The course provides a sound academic base from which an advanced career in Computer Application can be developed . These graduates can start their career a Junior Programmer and get promoted to the post of senior Programmers & Project Managers in the IT sector.
  • Eligibility Criteria
Any candidate who has passed HSC (10 + 2) exam from any stream with English as passing subject with minimum 45% marks at 12th std.(It may vary from college to college.)
  • Admission Procedure
Admissions will be made strictly according to the rules and procedures laid down by the University of Pune.Generally various colleges takes entrance exams for BCA degree course .They gives admissions based on the marks scored by the individuals in Entrance exams.
  • Duration
Three academic years, divided into six semesters.
  • Future Prospects
Students have a bright future in the IT field . They could take up jobs as Programmers and grow to become project managers. A post graduation in the relevant field is always proffered.
